There hasn’t been much activity on my blog in close to a year, and here is why:
After 14 months of concentrated review of academic books, dozens of one-on-one interviews, and half a lifetime exploring and experiencing the Holy Spirit in various Christian faith traditions, I am super excited to release a full, 12-hour video course on the Holy Spirit!
The course presentation was done in partnership with Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul, MN, so at times a name and/or reference may not be familiar to you, but the overall content is broad and comprehensive.
The main theme I develop in this presentation is this:
There has always been a witness in the Bible and throughout church history of an experiential prophetic/charismatic dimension to the Holy Spirit. This charismatic dimension is a separate dynamic from being a child of God, being saved, born again, water baptized, or receiving assurance in going to heaven, and is available now to those who come into the family of God through faith in Jesus. While simultaneous experiences can happen, one’s initial entrance into experiencing the prophetic/charismatic dimension is often subsequent to one’s initial conversion or water baptism into the family of God.
Topics covered are Old and New Testament survey of the Holy Spirit, righteousness and salvation, the new birth, and baptism in the Holy Spirit. You can view the course summary/syllabus here.

Thank you for the YouTube links. I plan to listen to them as time permits me. I have found things you wrote in your posts in the Flowage are great, and it has changed my way of thinking. I appreciate your input.
1 Corinthians 12:1 is one of the 7 things the Apostle Paul tells us we are not to be ignorant of. Attached is a draft of my study of 1 Corinthians chapters 12, 13, & 14. Some things I found are different than what I have been taught in the past. I discovered I was ignorant of this topic primarily due to wrong teachings. My research is a work in process, and I am not set in my ways.
